The Call
par Walkyrie
Lost in the City of Lights
Looking for guilty delights
I got up before dawn.
Morning star, young rebel
Check and mate the king's pawn
To move to a higher level
If love was everywhere,
Why wasn't it there?
Ready to cheat fate,
To play my last card
It is with the lord of hazard
That I have planned my first date
I had in mind
That love being blind
Send a text to a random number
Like throwing a bottle in the water
would help me to find a berth
Whether at sea or on earth
And I call
And I call
And I keep calling
Wolf it is you ?
I sharpened my fangs
Her S.O.S. in my hands
Can't wait at all anymore
Tonight, I opened my door
To Little Red Riding Hood
Who was so easily wooed
Straight out of a fairy tale
Old wolf, by life, disenchanted
My desires became a jail
And my mercy ripped off by a bandit
Remorseless, I caught her in my mesh
To teach her the pleasure of the flesh
Adored in her arms
I came back for one night,
The Little Prince that I once was
Then came the morning light
Alone in my bed, I mourn
The soul pricked by a thorn
And I call
And I call
And I keep calling
Love where are you ?
Traduction :
L'appel
Amour où-es-tu ?
